FAQ
Q: How do you make the jewelry?
A: Each Ink+Ether Studio piece begins as an original alcohol ink painting on synthetic paper, with isopropyl alcohol and a heat gun creating movement and definition as the ink dries. After being treated with a protective varnish and a UV-resistant coating to preserve the color, a carefully selected portion of the painting is glued into a metal tray and sealed with high-quality UV resin.
Q: What kind of metal do you use?
A: The metal is a plated alloy. Any metal that will be in contact with skin when worn is treated with a clear resin coating to make the metal hypoallergenic and resistant to discoloration.
